2026 Cohort Announcement

The American College Theater Festival (ACTF) Region IV is excited to announce the 2026 BOLD Fellowship Cohort! This paid fellowship empowers student leaders across the Southeast to support advocacy, engagement, and growth within regional theatre education.

2026 Cohort Overview

• Number of Fellows: 5 students selected annually

Ambassador Responsibilities

As a paid fellowship, the BOLD Ambassador role emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and meaningful regional impact.

Fellows will be expected to:

• Serve as Regional Liaisons:
  Participate in three virtual meetings with the ACTF Region IV BOLD Chair to discuss initiatives, progress, and challenges at their home institutions that affect the BOLD mission.
• Lead the “First-Timer” Initiative:
  Host a regional Zoom-based “Know Before You Go” session for students attending the ACTF Regional Festival for the first time.
• Create Regional Content:
  Complete three social media takeover days on ACTF Region IV platforms, highlighting theatre programs and student experiences across the Southeast.
• Provide On-Site Leadership:
  Serve as moderators for student-led forums during the Regional Festival and assist the Regional BOLD Chair with festival operations and support.
