	Region IV Faculty and Staff Design & Technologies Showcase - Description Faculty and staff scenic, costume, and lighting designers and technologists from across the region present their work in showcase. You are encouraged to seek support of your colleges and universities for inclusion in the showcase, attendance at the festival, and full participation at all events for you are the strength of your design and technology program. We grow stronger through our shared perceptions of our art in performance and review. Faculty fellowship nominees will be featured along with and faculty and staff from the host state. Specific guidelines for faculty fellowship nominees will be forthcoming from the National Design & Technologies Chair. Certificates will be presented to all participants. [Currently the national fellowships have not yet been extended to include staff.] Guidelines & Procedures 1. Any Region IV College or University faculty or staff whether full-time or part-time may participate in the Faculty & Staff Showcase. We are all working to create the most professional production values possible at our respective schools. All are welcome. 2. All materials displayed must be labeled with: Title of Production and Desisgner’s / Artisan’s name. The institution may appear on all documents. The Designer’s / Artisan’s return address should be on the back of each item of the entry. The presentation may be on a table or on the wall. For the table, the complete presentation must fit in a 2 feet deep x 4 feet wide table space with a free standing presentation 3 feet tall by 4 feet wide placed at the back of the table space. Tables will be provided. When mounted and displayed on a vertical surface the presentation must not exceed 32 square feet, 4 feet wide by 8 feet high. When size limitations of scaled presentation materials require xerographic reduction, such out-of-scale reduction should be noted. Please note on the entry form if a table or wall space is required. 3. The designer/artisan will send project materials requested to the host of the Regional Festival two weeks prior to the festival or bring materials to the Design and Technologies exhibition space in person prior to the scheduled deadline for submission as determined by the Regional Design Chair.
