Site Project (Athens/Turin) Now Accepting Applications from Students for the Summer of 2012

Site is an accredited, 6 week summer institute that originated in Athens in 2010 (the 2010 final project was presented at the Region 1 ACTF Festival in January 2011). This is a program aimed at multi-talented, multi-interested young artists : our mission is to broaden the way young artists define who they are and what they do when they think of making work for performance.

The 2012 institute will be comprised of 3 weeks in Athens, Greece and 3 weeks in Turin, Italy. Participants will work with local students in both Greece & Italy creating a wide variety of both solo and collaborative work in multiple media, all focused by a central theme (in 2011, the theme was the human cost of the economic & social upheavals in Greece and the EU). Institute includes nominal travel in Greece & Italy.

The website has information, dates, application forms, fees, contact information, faculty bio, and a sampling of work from 2010 & 2011.
